Author Rachel Rener Shop Refund/Return/Exchange Policy

We do not offer refunds or exchanges UNLESS the product in question is severely damaged in transit, and you send proof of damage - proof must include damaged shipping materials as well as the damaged item(s). In that case, we offer refund (with return) and/or same-item exchange within the first 7 days of receiving your purchase.*** If 7 days have passed since you received your purchase, you will not be offered a refund and/or exchange of any kind. If damage is minor, you will be offered store credit for the amount we deem appropriate. 

*Customer is responsible for all shipping costs associated with returning items, whether returning or exchanging*

**Digital items and made-to-order items sales are final and cannot be returned or exchanged*

Eligibility for Refunds and Exchanges

* Your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.

* The item must be in the original packaging. Items removed from manufacturer packaging will not be eligible for returns/exchanges, or will be refunded at a discounted rate at the seller's discretion. 

* To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

* Only regularly-priced items may be refunded; sale/discounted items are not refundable. (including site-wide sales, promotions, and discount codes)

*If the item in question was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you will receive a gift credit for the value of your return.

Scratch and Dent or flash-sale items are not eligible for returns/refunds/exchanges - all sales are final.

Exchanges (if applicable)

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged in transit, with proof provided. If you wish to exchange it for the same item, fill out our contact form: www.rachelrener.com/contact

Return-only requests

For returns of undamaged items with no exchange requested (change your mind, financial reasons, etc) - books will only qualify to be returned within 7 days of shipping date, in original packaging. Return costs will be paid by the customer, not seller, and must arrive to seller in unaltered/undamaged "perfect" condition within 5 business days of request approval. Upon inspection, if item arrives in above described "perfect" condition, full cost of item will be issued to your account as store credit. If you wish a refund to your original payment method instead, there will be a 15% fee deducted from your refund total. Should ANY damage occur in transit, including minor, refunds will be deducted a minimum of 50%.
