ACTUAL, Real Apology 😥

Hi friends,

Many of you saw the "apology" video I posted from Dragon Steel over the weekend. That, of course, was done in jest, particularly since I was still riding my high from Brandon Sanderson stopping by my booth to tell me how beautiful he thought my books were!🥺

But today's apology is genuine and from the bottom of my heart. Due to many, many unforeseen and time-sucking complexities of my rapidly-growing business, which take me, on average, around 12 hours a day to tackle (weekends included 😭), it is with an exceptionally heavy heart that I must announce the delayed release of Fire Opals and Family. In 7 years of publishing, I have never missed a book deadline, so I'm taking this one particularly hard. But I also want to ensure you guys continue to get my greatest stories, told with the highest quality of writing, so it's a necessary heartbreak.

I will be delaying the release until the end of February. Those of you who have preordered on Amazon will NOT lose your preorder; you'll simply be delivered the book at a later date.

I'm genuinely sorry for the delay as well as the lateness of my announcement. I think I wanted to convince myself an on-time release is possible when it simply is not. 

For now, you can of course still read the first book in the series, Amethysts & Alchemy (which also has a phenomenal audiobook by the amazing Lia Langola!).
