First up: The exclusive "early bird" goodie! 🦜

Everyone who makes a pledge in the first 12 hours

will receive this adorable "Bisskiss" goodie for free! Earlier today I asked my


reader group


if they preferred Biscuit as a sticker, pin, or magnet, and their overwhelming response was..... MAGNET!!! 🥳

There will also be a super ultimate AMAZEBALLS tier limited to the first 25 people (who want it). You can see all that entails

If you're unfamiliar with Kickstarter, here's how it works:

Kickstarter is a crowdfunding platform

where creators launch projects, and backers pledge money to support them. A

pledge is similar to a preorder

—you’re reserving exclusive rewards (like special editions, merch, or early access) in advance.

It’s

all-or-nothing funding

, meaning the project must reach its goal by the deadline, or no money is charged. Kickstarter is

secure and safe to use

—funds are only collected if the project is successful - in this case, at the end of April. (After tax refunds, yay!)

It’s a great way to support indie creators while getting unique, limited-edition goodies! ✨

Answers to other Silver Blood-related FAQ's:

1. 
   
   
   The Kickstarter (KS) will go live
   on April 1st
   (no, that's not a joke ;)) and will last approximately 25 days
   
2. The black-out versions are ULTRA-LIMITED and will not be permanent. Gilded Blood will return to its pink format and Silver Blood will have a permanent edition as well, likely TBA in Q4 2025. (It will not be pink or black.)
   
3. I will have a few extra black-out editions on-hand after the KS (assuming we fund), but the only guaranteed way to get a black-out copy is via KS. We are only doing one printing of this collector's edition.
   
4. There will be a matching slipcover that holds both books. (No, you do not need to buy both books - Silver Blood can be purchased on its own.)
   
5. Yes, the original pink omnibus will fit in the new 2-book slipcase.
   
6. Yes, the original artist (Uwe) is returning!  There will be at least 3 brand-new illustrations in SB!
   
7. Yes, there will be amazing add-ons (including a certain plushie!!!!)
   
8. NO, you won't have to wait until 2026 to get your book(s) - we are already well underway with production, assuming the project funds! 🤞
   
9. Yes, there will be stretch goals - very, VERY cool stretch goals!
   
10. The Ultimate Tier is limited to 25 people. The locket can ONLY be received via this tier. It will not be an add-on.
