I... am an idiot.

Friends... I am an idiot.

A well-intentioned idiot, certainly, but an idiot nevertheless.

Over the last 4 weeks, I have:

• Moved into a new house
• Cleared out the old house one box at a time
• Launched a Kickstarter
• Signed books in DC, at ApollyCon
• Signed a German publishing deal for Inked (with possibly MORE cool German stuff TBA?!)
• Gotten 20k words of Hematites and History written
• Published the Fire Opals & Family audiobook (it is SO good!!!)
• Designed a top secret surprise for aforementioned Kickstarter (assuming we hit our top stretch goal🤞)
• Gotten sick three times🤧😷
• Helped launch and support a brand-new romantasy platform
• And now...

I'm getting ready to attend back-to-back conventions in Chicago and Berlin, starting tomorrow 😐

Did I plan for all these things to converge at the EXACT SAME TIME? Nope. Not even a little! But happenstance and circumstance has brought me here, and with caffeine, Dayquil, the help of my incredible team, and a heart dose of continued self-delution, I shall persevere!

For now, while I am still relatively functional, I just wanted to mention a few things!

1. The A&A Deluxe Special Edition Kickstarter is going SO WELL! Because of you, we funded in record time (less than 2 minutes!!), making this STUNNING collector's treasure a reality!

We are currently working on our 4th stretch goal: shimmery, glittering end pages that sparkle like the inside of an amethyst geode 🤩

2. Fire Opals and Family is on 🔥FIRE 🔥 right now after a certain literary happy ending turned into a real-life happy ending for a man named Jared. If you have not yet seen his hilarious email or my response, do yourself a favor and go get your giggles in.
