This book is CHONKY, coming in at an anticipated 10k words longer than Synced, the prior record-holder for having highest number of words in the Gilded Blood series. I know it can sometimes be tough to switch POVs when reading a series, but believe me when I say, Gilded Blood fans are going to LOVE Zayn's story. It's not just a rehashing of

. It's what happens in the two years before

, focusing on Zayn's secrets, struggles, and his all-consuming desire for the one woman he's vowed never to touch - his new tattoo apprentice, Talia.
