While the new shipment of books was SUPPOSED to arrive today and I had an entire team assembled at 9am to handle ~7,000 lbs of pallets, the shipping company informed me at 11:55am (5 minutes before the end of their 4-hour delivery window) that they would not, in fact, be coming today. Many indie authors don't offer preorders of upcoming releases on their direct shop because it messes with their ranking on Amazon; they'd rather force sales there, for as long as possible, to nab higher rankings. While that's probably smarter, I've never been a "smart" author 😂 Me, I'm all about getting you guys your books ASAFP so you don't have to wait any longer than you already have to!
