Kickstarter FAQ's
How does a Kickstarter work?
Think of it like a preorder, except you are helping to bring the project to life! You “pledge” to the project and if it funds you are charged on the closing date! A pledge is a commitment, and you will only be charged at the end of the project.
What Does It Mean To Back A Project (Pledge)?
Backing a project means placing a pledge to support it and selecting a reward tier. On this campaign, your pledge functions like a pre-order for the edition of the book you choose. If the project reaches its funding goal and the campaign ends successfully, the book will be produced and shipped to backers according to the estimated delivery schedule.
How Do I Pledge?
Click the green “Back This Project” button at the top of the campaign page. You will then select your preferred reward tier, confirm your shipping location, and enter your payment details. Kickstarter will only collect your payment once the campaign ends successfully.

Do you ship to the EU?
Due to frequently changing EU import and product-compliance regulations, we strongly recommend that backers living in the EU use a package-forwarding service with a delivery address outside the EU. If a forwarding service isn’t an option, you are still welcome to back the campaign! However, depending on the regulations in effect when rewards are ready to ship, additional compliance requirements and/or fees may apply. If so, we’ll contact affected backers before fulfillment with any additional costs or steps necessary to ship your rewards legally and safely.
